I’m not fat. I’m not even chubby. But during my winter hibernation, I put on seven pounds. So here I am at 5’ 4”, 135 lbs., dragging around a squishy, little booze-and-bagel belly. Not attractive. Here, see for yourself:

So I’ve started my warm weather, happy body regimen. This is what it looks like:
--Keep a diary of everything I eat.
--Stay off the sugar and limit the dairy products.
--Go low carb (but not no-carb, which is torture).
--Stay off the booze for a while.
--Do something fitness-y five times a week, for an hour.
--Do things I love (instead of thinking about food).
--Get lots of sleep, as often as possible.
This winter, I put on more weight than usual. Then again, given the recession, there were more work, money and family-related stresses than usual. But now it’s time to kick butt. Can’t let the economy turn me into an anxious blimp!
